This paper examines Russia’s relations with the West and Asia. First, it analyzes existing ties between Russia and the West. Then it looks at the country's opportunities in Asia in terms of geopolitical issues, economics and energy. Additionally, the paper examines the consequences Russia’s relations with the West and Asia may have for its foreign policy.
