This analysis highlights a number of international initiatives against the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD). The author sketches the efforts of the G8, NATO, the US and its allies and the UN to reduce nuclear dangers and prevent the proliferation of WMDs. Some areas where additional collaboration is needed are pointed out.
