This monograph highlights how illicit arms are being brokered in 12 countries across Southern Africa, ranging from Angola to Zimbabwe. Given that these transactions are creating significant legal and governance problems for the region, the text's authors contend that new arms control instruments and greater coordination among local states are absolute musts.
