Five years after Tunisia’s 2011 revolution, the country’s democratic transition is shaky and the public mood is darkening. In response, this paper recommends different ways that the EU and US might work together to assist Tunisia in achieving stable economic, security, and democratic development. Of particular concern is the need to bolster and reform the nation’s security sector.
