Are China and the US paying close enough attention to the possibility of a nuclear crisis emerging from a conflict between India and Pakistan? This text suggests they are not. Indeed, the author asserts that given the volatility of India-Pakistan relations, and the stakes at hand, a senior-level US-China dialogue on crisis management in South Asia is not only desirable but also potentially critical to mitigating tensions arising from a potential crisis on the subcontinent.
