This commentary explores the G20’s expected interactions with Africa under the group’s upcoming German presidency. While referring to recent developments such the launch of a Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) and new EU-African economic partnership agreements, the text’s author argues that European proposals to launch a new Marshall Plan on the continent have some potential.
