This publication addresses hybrid warfare. More specifically, the author first addresses the present threat situation based on the various definitions of hybrid warfare, above all, how it is perceived by the US and the China. He then analyzes various aspects of the problem, including those relating to 1) China’s cyber espionage; 2) challenges for intelligence services created by Huawei 5G technology; 3) Germany’s perception of the terrorism threat and related countermeasures; 4) the role of the EU Intelligence Analysis Centre (INTCEN) in combating international terrorism; 5) the importance of electronic warfare; 6) anti access/area denial (A2/AD) weapon systems, and more.
