This report examines the progress the UN Secretariat and member states have made in implementing the 166 recommendations dispensed by the 2015 High-Level Independent Panel on Peace Operations (HIPPO) on how to improve UN peacekeeping operations. More specifically, the report measures the progress that has or hasn’t been made in nine areas and provides suggestions on how UN members and the next secretary-general can expedite the implementation of HIPPO’s proposals.
