Report of the Hutton Inquiry appointed by the British government to investigate the death of a UK government weapons expert, Dr David Kelly. The inquiry examined the controversy surrounding the UK government's dossier on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction published on 24 September 2004. Specifically, it addressed the allegations made by BBC journalist Andrew Gilligan that the claims made in the dossier were deliberately exaggerated by the UK government and what part Dr Kelly played in corroborating these allegations.
