This report, an independent analysis commissioned by the United Nations Inter-Agency Standing Committee Working Group, examines the evolving humanitarian situation in the Republic of Congo. The report provides information on the civil war and the delicate recovery and peace process in the Republic of Congo. The author identifies a number of measures that, if implemented, would help create lasting and sustainable peace in the Congo.
