Publication

This paper addresses the role of small arms and light weapons in violent conflicts in Western and Central Africa. The author examines whether an updated understanding of previous micro-disarmament programs could serve as the basis for policy measures that could effectively tackle the problems created by small arms and their misuse in these regions.
