This paper provides an overview of the democratic accountability aspects of the European Rapid Reaction Force (ERRF) within the context of the European Security and Defense Policy (ESDP). The author examines aspects of the ERRF where there is a growing gap in democratic accountability and correspondingly recommends measures for bridging the gap.
