In 2015 the damage inflicted by cyber criminals in the Asia-Pacific Region totaled $81 billion. Unfortunately, that number has continued to climb, as have the instances of online radicalization and other content-related problems. The good news is that regional bodies such as the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) are cognizant of these dangers and have already taken steps to address them. Here’s what the ARF and others have done and what they still need to do.
