The articles in this issue of Perspectives on Terrorism focus on 1) countering violent extremism in prisons; 2) contemporary symbolism and rhetoric of the extreme right; 3) the targeting preferences of militant Islamists in Europe; and 4) tactical and strategic approaches to screening known potential terrorist attackers. The issue also includes bibliographies on terrorist organizations - covering issues such as such organizations´ origins, networks, development, splits, decline and more – as well as recent online resources that are available for terrorism analysis.
