This paper analyzes the risk of a conflict between Israel and Iran. The author argues that while the likelihood of a war between Iran and the US has diminished since the beginning of 2008, there are indications of a greater possibility of conflict between Iran and Israel. He warns that the consequences could be deeply destabilizing for the region as well as for the world economy as a whole.
