This briefing summarizes the roundtable recommendations of 30 journalists, academics and security analysts for the incoming US administration in January 2005. Broadly speaking, the briefing is critical of US President George W Bush's foreign policy agenda. It finds fault with the president's unilateralism and emphasizes the need for adopting the perspectives of others when formulating policy.
