This report examines innovative technologies on the market that could be or are already being adapted for use in homeland security. The examples provide an outlook on future public-private cooperation in homeland security. The authors call on policymakers within the Department of Homeland Security, US Congress, state and local governments and state homeland security centers to be aware of technological innovations.
