This paper discusses the role of industrial parks as catalysts for economic development in Gaza. It analyzes the background of the Gaza project and the economic environment, and looks at the industrial estates using short, medium and long-term perspectives. The authors underline that economic development in the Palestinian Territories is critical to both the progress and eventual success of the peace process.
