This paper investigates land rights in post-conflict Angola. Problems of good governance and social inequality are Angola's chief obstacles to long-term prosperity. The author argues that Angola has a low population density and that sufficient fertile land is available for distribution. It concludes with recommendations for the international community to maintain pressure on the Angolan government to reform.
