This paper focuses on the official aid programs of China, India and South Korea as demonstrative of changing international donorship practices in Asia. It investigates the history and motivations for aid donorship in Asia, current policies, types and sources of funding as well as the various agencies and organizations involved. The authors conclude with a series of policy recommendations for local, regional and international stakeholders.
