This analysis examines Chinese overseas aid in the Asia-Pacific region. Through examination of the directions and choices China makes in allocating aid the author seeks to highlight any possible ulterior motives China may have. The author concludes that such ulterior motives are likely exaggerated and that multilateral agendas should be pursued in the region.
