This publication provides an overview of the cooperation between India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), focusing particularly on the politico-strategic and economic relationships. It further highlights the management of economic cooperation through institutional arrangements and the role of the India ASEAN summits in crafting trade agreements. The author concludes that relations have been strengthened during the past 15 years while much still needs to be done.
