This publication examines relations between India and Singapore, focusing on cooperation in the areas of security and trade as well as science and technology. It discusses India's politico-strategic relationship with Singapore at the bilateral level and in the context of regionalism in the framework of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The author concludes that Singapore has emerged as India's staunchest supporter for military presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
