This publication provides an in-depth look at the use of child soldiers in armed conflicts in Afghanistan. The author covers six major areas: military recruitment, rehabilitation, education, reintegration, justice and international norms. The report concludes that without a solid structure of security or governance in Afghanistan, it will be increasingly difficult for child soldiers to join mainstream society.
