This publication discusses the significance of Nalanda University and the strategic imperatives of major players involved in its revival program. It examines emerging structures of the university and its potential use as an instrument of soft power diplomacy. The report concludes that the Nalanda project has the potential to bring together divergent and hostile players throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
