This publication discusses the liberalization process in the Indian aviation sector and broader ASEAN cooperative framework. The author analyzes three factors affecting the scene: direct investment, growing air transport and tourists markets and open sky policies. The report concludes that Southeast Asia and India should develop a mutually beneficial framework of cooperation in the aviation sector.
