This brief analyzes the mission of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. It looks at the enforcement of the mission in relation to the principles that NATO has drawn up for this type of missions. The author looks at different aspects of the implementation and recommends actions to improve the mission's effectiveness.
