This paper reports and analyzes the results of the first in a series of public opinion surveys in Cyprus aimed at investigating what Cypriots think of each other, of the peace process and of possible solutions to the conflict. The authors suggest ways in which the leadership in Cyprus as well as in the EU could engage in measures to raise public confidence in incentives for peace on the island.
