As this bulletin sees it, the Czech Republic values the Visegrad Group for two reasons – as a platform to build regional economic ties and as an ad hoc political alliance. In Prague’s eyes, however, the Group doesn’t take precedence over close relations with Germany, nor should it become a source of sustained opposition to European integration.
