This report from the US National Intelligence Council (NIC) contains the collective assessment of the US intelligence community and external experts with regard to critical drivers and scenarios that shape the global future up to the year 2025. The authors examine topics such as globalization, demography, the rise of new powers, the decay of internationals institutions, climate change and energy policy, and describe the challenges that may arise for future decisionmakers.
