What trade policies will the Trump administration most likely pursue? This paper expects 1) a greater degree of US protectionism; 2) a reversal on the TPP initiative; and 3) a willingness to put TTIP negotiations on the backburner, primarily because the administration will turn its attention to the future of NAFTA and the US’ relationship with China/Asia.
