This policy brief evaluates the political situation in Serbia focusing on the polarization between pro-Europeans and traditionalists in the country. It then discusses the implications this has for the other counties of the Western Balkans to finally address the role of the Euro-Atlantic institutions. The author concludes by giving concrete policy recommendations to the EU and NATO.
