This reports presents and analyzes the results from the US presidential, congressional and gubernatorial elections and ballot initiatives. After presenting the results, the authors analyze the presidential election based on exit polls. They then examine the presidential election campaigns and look at the elections in a historical perspective. The last section provides background information on the 2008 elections.
