Publication

This publication on Asia and the Middle East offers perspectives on trends and developments in the region. Topics addressed include technology, transnational security, identity, ideology and demography in the Middle East; political leadership of Indian Muslims as well as insurgency, terrorism and transnational crime in South Asia; and eventually nontraditional security and regionalism, transboundary environmental governance, fisheries and HIV/AIDS policies in Southeast Asia. The last chapters focus on the interpretation of the identified trends and challenges.
