This paper examines the increasing number of “networks of interests” that exist in the world, with a particular emphasis on the roles of the UN, regional organizations, civil society and NGOs, and the private sector. In the case of the UN, the text analyzes its relationships with other players and outlines the best cooperation strategies it should pursue in order to adapt to an increasingly complex world.
