This publication reflects on the 2019 Easter attacks in Sri Lanka and its implications for peace and security in the country. It concludes that the stakes to establish responsibility for the assault are high, and if one were to find a Tamil association to the attacks, Sri Lankan authorities would have to anticipate renewed tensions between the Singhalese majority and the Tamil population.
