Feb 2009

This publication addresses the disagreement between the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Greece as well as Greece's vote against FYROM's bid to join NATO. The authors argue that the setback is damaging to all parties and that it undermines the Alliance's stated objective: to enhance peace and stability in Europe. Furthermore, the author explains that the setback marginalizes the two states and erodes their credibility.
