This policy brief addresses individuals in international peacekeeping operations (PKOs) involved in sexual exploitation and abuse of the host country’s population. The policy note focuses on military staff, but acknowledges that the civilian staff of PKOs and international aid workers are also implicated. However, the publication points out that most PKO staff are not sexual exploiters and abusers.
