Publication

This publication is a statement of principles developed by British and Irish aid agencies in conjunction with the Overseas Development Administration concerning the management and support of aid personnel working in the field. The document contains seven principles with a brief case study used to exemplify indicators and share experience rather than to prescribe a specific course of action for other agencies. The contributors seek to standardize procedures, minimize operational risks and raise the profile of how human resources are administered in aid programs and on the agenda of future debates.
