This publication reports from a workshop on the challenge facing the international governance framework for food and agriculture held in December 2008. Topics covered include the origins and implications of the food crisis, food aid and the food crisis, and ecological concerns. The report also sketches the way ahead for sustainable agriculture and future policy directions discussed at the workshop.
