This publication includes articles on a broad range of topics related to security sector reform. It first discusses the meaning and the origins of the concept as well as the organizations to which it is being applied. The second article specifically looks at the political history of police reform in Serbia. It is followed by an article exploring the link between Vladimir Putin's arrival in the post of prime minister of the Russian Federation and the beginning of the second Russian military campaign in Chechnya. The last article addresses parliamentary control of the European Security and Defense Policy.
