This report on disaster management in Pakistan offers an overview of the history of the country's disaster relief. It assesses the state's capacity to respond to disaster on the national and local level as well as in its civilian and military capacity. It concludes by discussing implications of Pakistan's recent disaster responses and outlining possible ways forward.
