The paper outlines some critical aspects of the emerging nuclear renaissance as well as highlighting ongoing initiatives aimed at reducing energy security risks. The author argues that the energy security debate within NATO needs to become more receptive to a wide range of security challenges instead of focusing almost exclusively on fossil fuels.
