This paper examines the legacy of the Ghana's National Reconciliation Commission (NRC). The author assess the Commission in relation to crucial debates about truth commissions within the field of transitional justice. He compares and contrasts the Ghanaian experience to other commissions around the world to elicit a deeper understanding of the issue.
