Publication

The paper documents a project empowering ex-combatants in South Africa in order to address their psychosocial needs. It provides discussion and recommendations of cross-cutting themes based on respondent analysis and interviews with stakeholders. The author highlights the role of political will, strengthening the services sector, economic empowerment, psychosocial healing and the importance of recognizing the issue.
