This issue of the Central European Journal of International and Security Studies (CEJISS) discusses, among others issues: conscientious objection and draft resistance in the Israeli Defense Forces; linking disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) and security sector reform (SSR) in post-conflict states; and the Lisbon Treaty and the future of EU enlargement. It also offers commentary on the 2008 Czech presidential elections, potential changes to US foreign policy following the 2008 elections, post-WWII political trials in Czechoslovakia, energy security in the EU, and the security environment in Kosovo.
