This report examines Liberia's progress in it's post-conflict reconstruction process. It analyzes various initiatives and challenges associated with Liberian post-war experiences, taking into account domestic circumstances and regional and international contexts. The author explores Liberia's war legacies and highlights the role of good governance for peace and stability. He then discusses priorities and challenges in the post-conflict reconstruction process, focusing on the reform of the security sector. The report concludes by outlining various scenarios based on the opportunities available to Liberian authorities.
