The four articles in this issue of the CAD do indeed focus on Iran’s role in the South Caucasus region. The pieces specifically focus on 1) the future of Iranian energy cooperation in the area; 2) the trade routes that could link Europe and Tehran more tightly together; 3) the role of Iranian Azeris, Armenians and Georgians in strengthening the country’s economic relations; and 4) the prospects of Georgia benefiting economically from the suspension of Western sanctions against Iran.
