This report examines the cyber and information warfare that's been conducted on behalf of separatist fighters in Eastern Ukraine. The text’s authors specifically look at 1) the historical background and chronology of the struggle; 2) the victims of the attacks and the possible perpetrators; and 3) the effects of the assaults on Ukraine’s economy, society and politics. Last, the authors recommend five ways to minimize the effects of cyber-mischief in Ukraine and other states.
