Publication

This publication reflects on China’s aspirations to become a global hegemon following the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) and the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). In doing so, the text’s author reflects on China’s long-term solutions for key socio-economic, technological, diplomatic and defense challenges facing the country. The author contends that unless there is nuclear war, the entire world save for the US realizes and accepts that China has crossed the threshold of no-return to ultimately becoming the global hegemon.
